"7 hours for a 3 hr max repair!" I had a 10 am appointment for a repair that was estimated 2 -3 hours and I, after calling 3 times, wasn't able to pick up my car until close to 5pm! If someone has an appointment, the dealership should keep it! People have to arrange their days around things like this and it completely screwed my entire day! I'm pretty sure I was not their priority because they were replacing an item on my car that Toyota had a "campaign" for; not a true recall, just an identified issue. Why do I think this? ... read more

"Service Department" You need to train your 'new' service writers in customer relations. I was told the service I was having performed took approx. an hour and ten minutes. At the 1.5hour mark I went looking for the service writer. She said they had to run a procedure twice and mine would be next out. At the 2 hour I asked again where my vehicle was and she said it would be coming down off the rack shortly. The service writers you had before would have made a point of coming back to the customer immediately when there was a ... read more

"Rude, Rude, Rude" Sales lady was nice but manager was rude and was a bully! He didn't want my business. I was seeing if he would go down on the price of a 2014 used Scion. You would have thought I asked him to cut his leg off. I got a lecture on how car dealerships don't have to lower there prices anymore. Carl Jones told me I don't have a car for you! Wow! I drove to Charles Barker Scion and bought a car and was treated like a respected customer. Should have given them a zero.

"Unorganized" I called a week prior to my appointment to make an appointment. I came in at my correct time and there wasn't an appointment made apparently and therefore no notes were left for the next person to see what I was there for. The man " jeff" helped me and was very nice but was confusing to understand at times. At the end of my hour waiting which I don't mind waiting at all, he called me while I was still in their specified lobby and said my car was almost done and he'll come get me. After about 15 more minutes of ... read more

"Nailed It!" I was a little bit worried when I recently received a warranty recall notice in the mail from Toyota. I followed and instructions and called Pearson Toyota to see what needed to be done. They got me an appointed for the inspection within a couple of days at a time that was convenient for me. When I arrived, I got right in and they told me if the inspection confirmed there was a problem, they had the parts on site and would be able to replace the defective parts at a time of my convenient to me. I adjourned to th... read more

"Made My Car Worse!! Be Carefull, They Mistreat Your Car" Our Camry has less than 90K on it yet the dash has deteriorated and had to be replaced and the engine had to have an oil consumption test conducted. The headliner actually fell off at less than 25K and Pearson's refused to repair it. When we got our car back from having the dash replaced, the CD player did not work and the middle temperature control knob light was broken. We had to return for another all morning appointment for repairs. They fixed the CD player but br... read more

While performing the dash recall the radio did stop working. Pearson Toyota replaced it at no charge to the customer because the owners are good customers. When we were replacing the radio, the lights in the heater control panel stopped working. Both of these componets are parts that are unpluged and pluged in only. Pearson also replaced this part at no cost to the owner for the same reason. We apologized and even offered to pick the vehicle up at the owners residence and return it at no expense to the customer. Vehicles wit... read more

"Salesperson had superior knowledge" Our saleswoman really knew about the Highlander we were considering. Cars no longer are just metal, tires and leather interior. They are a whole computer system and she knew all about them and was able to communicate how it works to those of us who are less tech savvy

"Prius bad bear" Why did it take over an hour and a half to do a state inspection and an oil change ? It took less than 45 minutes to do the exact same thing to my Avalon 2 days earlier.

Business response:

I am Billy Hobbs the Service Manager here at Pearson Toyota Scion. When I saw your review I did some research and discovered from Matt Gallik that he did indeed keep you waiting longer than normal. His team had a vehicle just before yours that turned into a bigger concern than we had antacipated and our state inspector assigned to your vehicle ran behind. I do not believe we communicated this to you as we should have. You are a valued customer and I would like to show you we can meet your expectations. If I may have your per... read more
