He gave me guidance on how to get the repair covered by the manufacturer despite my warranty expiring due to mileage because leaks from the third break light are a known issue with Ram trucks. It took a little bit of effort to connect the warranty agent form the manufacturer with the Service manager but they eventually connected and approved my repair under warranty.
