The regular service was fine. But, like my last Volvo this one had sensor and electrical problems. The low battery light kept coming on as did the coolant light - often it said emergency stop immediately, but was full. My other issue was that the phone stopped pairing with the car. I was very explicit about this as it is maddening. When I picked up the car, the phone problem was still there. The service person who checked me in didn't tell me that - I told him I would have left my phone.
The dealership contacted me immediately and listened to the requests that were discussed. A follow up call was received even before I had made a decision which facilitated my decision to purchase.
Check Engine light, code given was related to Evaporation Valve that needed replacement. I was in and out in a little over an hour, and that included a hand wash!
I made an appointment a week prior so that they could plan ahead with a loner as I had to be back at work. I took the first spot available in the morning so I can be in and out. My service guy came in late to my appointment which was fine because maybe he got busy doing something else, but he didnt even apologize or acknowledge that it was late. Then he gave me a dirty loaner with the gas light on (barely had any gas) . If I made an appointment is for the dealer to be prepared for it.
My 3 last services I had a bad experience. No available cars to give us, while service is being done, last time my car was not washed. Also service took much longer than expected. Have to bring the car 2 times, for service vmbecause they did not have people to do the service in 1 day. Very bad experience.
Over 4 hours for scheduled service and tires. Ridiculous!
Ask them to fix the left side view mirror so it stays in memory and they said no read the manual!!
Worst service department. I was told by a mechanic my control arms were bad and should be replaced, I took it to them and they said they were fine even though they are making noise. Ive has other issues in the past. I took the car to Deel Volvo and they ended up replacing both control arms as well as axels under my warranty, they said they were indeed loose and needed to go. Do not go to Volvo of North Miami. Worst location, worst service and aging building.
Worst experience ever. Stick to another brand like Mercedes.
