We are from FL and drove to Cherokee Toyota in GA to look at a Jeep. After driving the Jeep we decided to buy it. However once the owner of the dealership found out we didn’t need their financing he refused to sell us the Jeep unless they ran our credit. We called our bank and she confirmed to them they would 1 day the money to the dealership and we agreed to sign the paperwork today and not pick the Jeep up until after the dealership received the money tomorrow. Talked to service department about a key for my daughters car and was told to come on up there and that I didn’t need an appointment. (Skip) Drove all the way up there for the guy to say sorry I’m going to lunch- someone else can help you. Then told a two hour wait. Also, Liz was anything but nice. Won’t go back. The folks at Cobb Toyota are hands down more professional and efficient.

7pm service center close time should be 7pm. I was there in plenty of time for you to FINISH the battery service YOU recommended LAST Friday that there was NO record of today when I took my car in BEFORE 6p. Went home for the paperwork & returned BEFORE 6:45 to be told all technicians have already left. Wasted my time AND gas to get a service YOU recommended. Unbelievable.
Bought a used vehicle from them and sent my wife on her way with a tire that had two cuts in it and no gas in the tank. She had to come back after D.W. told their sales rep that they don't put gas in their used vehicles, he seemed to be more concerned about leaving for the day than making sure everything was right. They ordered a new tire and it's taken over TWO HOURS to change ONE tire. Don’t buy into the hype... Do your homework and make a few calls before you visit. I would have paid so much more if I had settled for doing business with Cherokee County Toyota. The big red flag was not being able to get a drive out price via email and text correspondence. Yes, I did drive a couple hours to get the deal on the truck I was told that no one would do. Some dealerships have forgotten their place is to earn the business. Don’t act like you’re doing me a favor by letting me buy a car from you.
I’m not sure how people have had good experiences here.... I give them 1 star. Not only did they pull my credit too many times with the second time being illegally and without my permission, but you can’t get anyone to call you back. I bought a 2020 Camry and at 5,000 miles it died. They towed it and had it looked at and said that everything was fine and that there was nothing wrong with it. Misleading sales manager.
Be honest, be truthful, honor your agreements. To date, this has been the worst car dealing experience. The Sales manager doesn't care at all. I feel as though we were baited and switched. I wanted highlander xle hybrid and we knew that it was one of the very few around. We were working with an employee who had pleasant manners.
