"Jeep Wrangler JKU - Noisy Manual Transmission Repaired" I was happy to get my manual transmission repaired. The machanic diagnosed the problem - an unusual fix - he replaced the shifting knob. It must have been cracked and the normal vibrations on the transmission created the rattle. I would have never guessed that was the problem.
