Avoid this dealership Update....after reviving a response for this review I called the dealership and was directed toward the VP Jody C. Stay away Run as fast as you can from this place! Drove 141 miles to purchase 2018 Tundra. Upon arriving and walking around vehicle we noticed significant bumper damage requiring a body shop to repair. Dealer insisted they did not know bumper was damaged and if I paid more money they would make repairs and deliver to me. NOT!!!! No one from Management made an attempt to introduce his or herself only went up on price! STAY AWAY!! Read reviews from all sites!
Didn't want my business because of financing I had about one of the worst experiences that I have had a dealership since I have been buying cars. Salesman (Jay) initially was very receptive and did everything that I asked from sending pictures and videos of the vehicle. Told Jay that we wanted to buy the 2015 Lexus and he asked me to place a $500 hold on the car so no one could come and buy the vehicle. Palmer sells car without basic SAFETY inspection. I purchased a Mercedes E350 off the Palmer Dodge lot early October, 2018. When I test drove the car I informed internet Sales Manager Mike Gebhardt the car must have tire/alignment issues. Mike said all cars ride differently and said they could do an alignment. He told me all their cars go through a safety inspection prior to making it onto the lot. Based on his word I purchased the vehicle. Terrible title& registration office Stay away. They rip you on the back end with title and registration fees that are unnecessary. They will Mail your paperwork and title to a county 600 miles away and charge you for it.
Overpriced Overpriced. Said I had a price through Costco, best price I could get there on my own was $1500 more than going through Costco auto. Worth the $60 membership fee just to buy a car. Also, was offered $6000 for my trade there, want to Carmax the next day and got a check for $8000. That puts them $3500 more than what I paid as a result of 2 hours of effort going elsewhere.
Unresponsive I asked for cost difference on trade. Palmer asked for photos of trade, VIN, other information. I sent them. There has been time for response but none forthcoming. Maybe they don't want the trade, but they could have said that at the start. Maybe they just don't care about selling cars.
Chip and Nick are Managers and are super Rude When and where their preapproval for 38K and the manager Was extremely rude and we’re not even talk to us, will not use my preapproval at this location! Lost a great customer!
