The level of communication and transparency was far worse than I'd expected for what was fairly major work. Having to follow up with the rep, rather than being given updates was beyond frustrating. A same day appointment turned into 5 days of worry and uncertainty.

My oil change appointment was for 7:30 am and yet my car was not ready until after 12:00.

The communication from the service department was terrible on a question I had about a fee on my bill. Over a week later I finally seen the service manager to answer the question and he supposedly put a credit on my bill but then I tried to use the credit on a purchase in parts and they didn’t see the credit on my account. Needless to say at this point the communication is in the tank. I worked at dealers in the automotive industry for 38 years I know a little bit about what I’m talking about this is inexcusable. They did not keep any of the promises and claims they made while selling me the vehicle. I feel taken advantage of and am extremely dissatisfied.

I have been with Palmer Dodge approximately 4 yrs. I have given strong positive reviews. Unfortunately, it feels like my customer loyalty is being taken for granted. Previously, an oil cap was left off the oil pan. 45 mins later I am on side of the road oil everywhere. Palmer Dodge picks up truck and stated no real damage was done. Truck was returned but was not riding smoothly as it was before. Palmer Dodge takes truck again after I found oil everywhere underneath truck. Svcs tech tried to charge me for a warranty item, which is the only reason that I brought vehicle in. While I was there, another customer warned me that she had been charged for over $1000 of repairs that she didn’t authorize. Big red flags!

I should have never returned to this dealership after my last experience. The service department is ignorant, and unprofessional. Just continue reading the reviews, and you will come to see a pattern. No integrity, or standard of excellence. Their employee informed me that my lights were on for over 24 hours,, after sending my vehicle for an oil change, and general maintenance, a 300 dollar battery was also needed. The worst car dealer service experience that I’ve had at any dealership. When I set up the appointment, I noted that I wanted to get whatever service was recommended for the mileage of my vehicle. Upon check -in, the advisor asked why I was there. She took notes on a scratch piece of paper which didn’t seem very organized. The advisors at other dealerships typically have some base knowledge about vehicles however you could obviously tell this advisor had zero experience with vehicles. Made an appointment 3 weeks in advance. It was for recall, check brakes, oil change with fluids, inspection etc., diagnostic on loud engine noise. Took car in on a Thursday.. left it. Was to be ready Thursday afternoon. No one called me. I called in late afternoon to see if it was done and my friend coukd bring me to pick up. Hiram told me it hasn’t been seen yet!
