I have been with Palmer Dodge approximately 4 yrs. I have been with Palmer Dodge approximately 4 yrs. I have given strong positive reviews. Unfortunately, it feels like my customer loyalty is being taken for granted. Previously, an oil cap was left off the oil pan. 45 mins later I am on side of the road oil everywhere. Palmer Dodge picks up truck and stated no real damage was done. Truck was returned but was not riding smoothly as it was before. I should have never returned to this dealership after my I should have never returned to this dealership after my last experience. The service department is ignorant, and unprofessional. Just continue reading the reviews, and you will come to see a pattern. No integrity, or standard of excellence. Their employee informed me that my lights were on for over 24 hours,, after sending my vehicle for an oil change, and general maintenance, a 300 dollar battery was also needed. When I set up the appointment, I noted that I wanted to get whatever service was recommended for the mileage of my vehicle. Upon check -in, the advisor asked why I was there. Made an appointment 3 weeks in advance. Made an appointment 3 weeks in advance. It was for recall, check brakes, oil change with fluids, inspection etc., diagnostic on loud engine noise. Took car in on a Thursday.. left it. Was to be ready Thursday afternoon. No one called me. I called in late afternoon to see if it was done and my friend coukd bring me to pick up. As a ten year veteran of car sales for a different brand, As a ten year veteran of car sales for a different brand, I really despised the practices and overall experience. I purchased a three year old CPO truck with only 18k miles. Though a CPO vehicle, there was only one key provided (replacement was $280 for me out of pocket), the wiper blades were actually falling apart, no owners manual and numerous scratches in the exterior that I also paid to have buffed out at a cost of $150. So disappointed. So disappointed. Brought my Gladiator in for a problem a couple of months ago and paid a lot of money to get the job done right (or so I thought). Almost immediately, the problem resurfaced. I was told it was a fuse. The fuse kept blowing, so I brought it back. I was told there is another problem with the same set of wires, it'll be another $800. I pitched a fit, and to his credit my service manager stepped into to make it right. They said they fixed it. I was an easy buyer. I was an easy buyer. Knew what I needed and did the puchase in one afternoon. BUT the truck was not cleaned at pick up or after the 2 times I had to bring it back to the dealership in the first month for service engine lights. They keep the truck over a week each time and I requested that they detail it since I had been without for longer then having had it. I was told they would. It was not.. Was barely greeted when I walked in to service department Was barely greeted when I walked in to service department to have oil change. Not given a estimated time for oil change, so I assumed this meant it was not a long time to wait. The waiting area was very nice, my 5 year old and 6 year old enjoyed a snack while we waited.
