First the bad: Palmer refused to service the glow plugs First the bad: Palmer refused to service the glow plugs in my Jeep eco-diesel unless I agreed to waive their responsibility for breaking one and further required that I agree to the cost of replacing the head if they did break off a glow plug for an estimated $4200. Naturally I told them no thanks. This tells me two things: first, that the glow plugs are a known defective item and second, that Palmer has little confidence in their mechanics. Terrible dealership! Terrible dealership! Caused an oil leak & refused to fix it- made up a different issue and wanted to charge me $1500. I got a third opinion and Palmer in fact caused the oil leak.
The print out shows a code and recommended to replace DPF The print out shows a code and recommended to replace DPF 4300.00 they did NOT run a regen process or try to do anything else. I had 2 other shops tell me to run a Regen which fixed the problem for less that 300.00 I am not happy to report this but it is what it is.
I was very well attended by customer service, however the I was very well attended by customer service, however the front of my car was dirty with grease and my tires were not calibrated.
